The Elhos Glass Meter is a device that measures the light transmittance coefficient, i.e. the ratio of the value of the luminous flux passing through the panes to the value of the flux incident on the panes. The measurement can be made on all glass installed in road vehicles with a thickness of up to 10 mm.
Elhos Glass Meter is a modern small-size measuring device, made with the use of microprocessor technology, enabling the recording of several measurements and printing the measurement protocol.
The solid construction of the housing, fully digital calibration, short measurement time and simplicity of use (one person) make the Elhos Glass Meter very well suited to work both in Vehicle Inspection Stations and in the open space both during the day and at night, e.g. during inspections authorized road services.
The instrument consists of the following components:
- an illuminator equipped with a light source,
- measuring head, equipped with a radiation detector (light transmittance meter),
- display that allows you to read the measurement results.

- 230V AC / 12V DC power supply with a power cord

The device was the first in the country to be certified by the Motor Transport Institute in Warsaw, and was submitted to the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. as an invention.
